Alert: Update on Rapid Health and Patient Access

We have listened to patient feedback with regards to concerns regarding the use of Rapid Health. We want to reassure patients that we have not removed any channels into the practice to request an appointment. You are still able to call us or pop into the practice if that is easier. When you reach us, one of our team members will fill in the Rapid Health triage form on your behalf. It is the same form that is completed if you choose to access us online, so all patients receive the same service regardless of how they contact us.

To better support you, if you choose to pop in, we are having a privacy pod installed in the main reception area where you can comfortably sit with one of our team members whilst they go through the form for you. This should be installed and ready to use in the first week in October.

Additionally, we are in the process of organising some drop-in sessions with a team of experts who can help you with your NHS App and answer questions about Rapid Health. This is not to force anybody to use technology but to educate our patients on getting the most out of technology whilst being supported, dates to follow.

Thank you for your patience and support whilst we make every effort to improve the service and care we deliver to you.
